I'm so excited about this week's coffee from India Arabidecool Estate. It's one of the most delicious Indonesian coffees available. We look forward to this one all year, except this time, it feels like I'm tasting it for the very first time. This coffee's unique attributes include a mild acidity and smooth round and creamy body.

The aroma is deceptively sweet and mild with a hint of rosewater and cream, slight earthiness and blackcurrant.

In the cup, the body is full and rich, with sweet milk chocolate, graham cracker s'mores, and smooth hints of Cadbury chocolate flavor.

The finish is massive and volcanic, dare I say. There's a hint of stonefruit, with clean, earthy flavors.

This offering from Arabidecool Estate is subtle and complex. This is a creamy, earthy coffee that will thrill you and everyone who tastes it.

The Rainforest Alliance certification indicates that a portion of the farm has been set aside as a naturally forested area. This certification ensures they estate is continually audited to meet standards that require environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

India Arabidecool Estate coffee is sourced from the Arabidecool Estate located near the Baba Budangiri hills in the Western Ghats mountain range within the state of Karnataka, India. In the Baba Budangiri hills there is a shrine for Baba Budan, the Sufi saint who first cultivated coffee in India with seven raw beans from Mocha that he brought from his pilgrimage to Mecca in the 17th century.

The Baba Budangiri hills are also home to the Neelakurinji flower, which only blooms every twelve years. The Arabidecool Estate covers 142 hectares with a distinct micro-climate that is reflected in the cup profile. The estate's Rainforest Alliance certification indicates that a portion of the farm has been set aside as natural forested area, and that sustainable environmental practices like water conservation and recirculation are in practice.
