In 2023, the Ohio State India Gateway thrived in fostering impactful connections and collaborations. Engaging with over 3,000 prospective students through 45 high school visits and recruitment fairs, we provided crucial support to admitted students, hosting virtual pre-departure orientations and global education opportunities. Notable successes included our pre-departure orientations and yield events, attended by 129 students, and student send-offs in four cities with a combined attendance of more than 50 students and alumni. All of these activities are made possible through our partnership with the Office of International Affairs, Office of Student Life, Undergraduate Admissions and The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
Facilitating 50 faculty visits and connecting with 134 faculty and staff members, we cultivated diverse initiatives in research, executive education and experiential learning. Collaborations with 58 partners, including academic institutions, corporations and government agencies, showcased our commitment to impactful partnerships. Our alumni and friends played a pivotal role, contributing to increased engagement activities and earning accolades for the alumni club.
As we bid farewell to a successful year, we express gratitude for the collective efforts that shaped our accomplishments and eagerly anticipate the opportunities that 2024 will bring. Here is to more in 2024!
