Project Overview & Benefits
Construction of the Indian Creek Drive Bike Lane along Indian Creek Drive, from 25 Street to 41 Street is a pilot mobility initiative to enhance bicycle safety, connectivity, encourage alternative transportation modes, and enhance the overall mobility experience for cyclists, residents, and visitors.
What's Happening?
The project is now in the final stage of construction, which includes the installation of the Zicla bike lane delineators and signage.
Timeline
Beginning Monday, October 13, 2025, the contractor will commence installation of the bike lane delineators and signage, starting from the north end and progressing. Work is scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and is expected to last up to four weeks.
Please know that this schedule may change due to weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
What to Expect
- Light to moderate construction noise is expected.
- Construction materials and equipment will be stored only in designated areas within the work zone.
- Workers and machinery will be present on-site. Please exercise caution and follow all posted signage when traveling through the work zone.
- Residents and visitors will have continuous access to their properties and accommodations.
- A Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan will be implemented as necessary to ensure public safety.
