Indian Education Lessons
Dear Indian Education Families,

I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe!

We are setting up digital distance learning resources for Indian Education families and students during this Stay at Home Order. Some lessons will have optional printed materials.

In an effort to ensure that all families in the consortium are receiving the distance learning materials, complete your contact information as soon as possible :

Contact Information Form  (Complete a separate form for each child.)

Families who do not have access to a printer for the optional printed materials, can complete a request to have materials mailed to their home on the form.

For elementary students, activities are intended to be worked on as a family. For secondary students, lessons are intended to inspire family conversations related to our program and to current topics of interest to the Native American community.

One elementary or secondary activity will be electronically sent to your family in April and another in May (if students do not return to school.) Lessons will not be graded nor returned to schools.

We hope that you will reach out if there is any way we can support your family during this very stressful time! Stay healthy, stay at home, fill out the contact form and stay in touch virtually.

Best Regards,

Robin Jacobs
Coordinator, Ventura County Indian Education Consortium
