Wellness Wednesday
We are looking forward to our continued enjoyment of Wellness Wednesdays in 2023! We will use each Wednesday to intentionally reset and recharge with helpful and supportive practices. Read more here if interested!
This week we practiced using our social thinking skills! Social thinking involves observing how we respond with others and navigate different environments. We explored some of the roadblocks that can emerge when interacting with others and created fictional characters that can help. It was a creative way to heighten our awareness about how to take care of ourselves and others!
We hope you can ask your child about their “Thinkable”!

Global Week at the ES
January 23-27
Every morning our IHES students participate in a morning meeting with their class. During this special week, all morning meetings will be focused on increasing awareness and understanding of countries and cultures of the world. Students will also have access to a global week website that offers opportunities for various global activities. Morning announcements will showcase countries and cultures and offer a moment for international music appreciation. Students will also enjoy the Global Fair at IHES on Friday, January 27.
Car Rider Line Procedures and Safety Reminders - Please Read!

  • Please Remain in your vehicle at all times! A staff member will assist the student with exiting and entering the vehicle when necessary.
  • NEVER pull out and attempt to pass other vehicles anywhere in line with the exception of the "Circle".
  • Please do not pull in to a vacant spot to collect your student. The line moves quickly. backing out of a spot is a safety hazard and causes delays to the entire line.
  • Have your Hang Tag with your child's name visible. This helps to expedite the process. Need a new tag? Let a staff member know.
