The Health and safety of community members is a top priority for the City of Indian Wells, but preparing for a major earthquake or other disaster requires a joint effort between citizens, businesses and local government.
In a major emergency, public safety professionals will not be immediately available, and because we are isolated in the Coachella Valley, resources may take a while to reach us. Residents should ensure they have enough supplies on hand, such as food, water, prescriptions, items for pets etc.
