This is the final week for the 2021 legislative session. The legislature is now fully focused on reconciling differences in bills passed by each chamber, and we anticipate some late-night sessions this week. Here are updates on some major issues, beginning with three Aspire has been working: Broadband, Transit, and Tobacco.

The new funding triples the total amount allocated. Eligible expenses incurred by May 1, 2021 include payroll and non-payroll expenses, such as insurance premiums, rent or mortgage payments, utilities, lease payments, food delivery, software service payments, and safety investments.
