Various grass-roots reports began emerging last Friday that Borden Dairy was closing its processing plants at Charleston, SC and Miami, FL. A statement has been received from Borden officials confirming those closures.

At the current time, it is not known how these plant closures will be reflected on southeast retail shelves.

These closures come two years after Borden announced bankruptcy proceedings, and was eventually purchased by New Dairy Opco in June of 2020.
