As I look back at my last four years as President & CEO of the BC Hotel Association, I am so proud of the contribution our team has made to support our hoteliers, their employees, their colleagues, our partners and our communities.

With the ever changing landscape, our team is changing as well. We are a small but mighty team, and I am so proud to introduce you to Gareth Allen-Symmons and Gaye Dilman. They joined us earlier this month and have both hit the ground running.

Gareth has a strong background in communications, events, and marketing with previous spells at Destination Vancouver and the London Design Fair. He brings with him great enthusiasm, a keen sense of humour, and an inquisitiveness that will serve all of us well.

Gaye is a Post Degree Business Administration student at Langara College and is very involved in the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's Leaders of Tomorrow program. She is originally from Bodrum, Turkey and makes a great Poğaça.

It will be interesting to see how their experience in other industries and countries contributes to the growth and depth of our team.

Best regards,

Ingrid Jarett

BCHA President & CEO

Gareth Allen-Symmons, Communications Manager

Gaye Dilman, Office Administrator
