BC Tourism Climate Resiliency Initiative Launched | |
Through the BC Tourism Climate Resiliency Initiative (BCTCRI), BC's tourism industry can apply for sustainability adaptation planning support and micro-grants from Destination BC.
Applications for planning support are open until February 23.
Applications for micro-grants up to $15,000 are open January 29 to March 8.

BCHA is pleased to introduce Mario from El Salvador. He is working as a maintenance worker at Pacific Sands Beach Resort and is enjoying his new job and learning new things.
Mario arrived in April, 2023 after applying to come to Canada through the El Salvador Consulate. He has worked in Canada before as an agricultural worker and is excited to be able to return to work in Canada again. Pacific Sands is very excited to have him join their team after trying for many months to fill this position.
