Grateful for an Inspiring Session
Following yesterday's quarterly meeting of the BCHA Board of Directors, the BCHA team and board had the overwhelming pleasure of welcoming Chief Frank Antoine and Greg Hopf, of Moccasin Trails, to lead an Indigenous culture training session. This illuminating and educational session created a space for each attendee to deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture and strengthen a path toward reconcili-action.

En route to Recruit
This week, President & CEO, Ingrid Jarrett, and Workforce Strategist, Alison Langford, will take flight, making their way to the Destination Canada Mobility Forum.
Through this recruitment event, international job seekers will have the opportunity to explore immigration and work opportunities among participating properties. At the same time, the BCHA team will continue to strengthen partnerships within the international recruitment community.
We look forward to reporting back on the impact of this important initiative.

Province Launches Destination Development Fund |
The Province is launching a $30 million fund to build a strong and globally competitive tourism sector that fosters communities across BC. The Destination Development Fund is providing one-time grants to support the development and rejuvenation of tourism infrastructure, assets and experiences to build long term resiliency of the tourism industry post-pandemic.
