The products mentioned above all serve a very specific and important role in proper barrier job application. Bio-Blue is utilized to remove any contamination or mold release wax on new or soda blasted vessels. Pettit Protect serves as osmosis barrier coat protection to provide protection against blistering, Pettit Protect is high in solids and low in smell. 2 coats of Pettit Protect can be applied instead of 6 coats of the competitors’ products. Unepoxy HRT in a contrasting should be used as a signal coat, say you would like the bottom black as your finish coat. Use Unepoxy HRT in red, blue, or green so when the multi-season product above it starts to wear through and you see a different color, you know it is time to re-coat. Then finish with 2 coats of Premium HRT in black. This system will serve your vessel well for many years.
