The Easterseals UCP of NC & VA Early Intervention Team celebrates their first in-person gathering since COVID!
“It was so nice to finally see each other face-to-face (while social distancing of course) to get creative, leave our computers and work cell phones at home and just reflect on the past couple of years and what we have been dealing with during COVID. We had two team members who had not ever met the rest of the group (in person) because they were hired virtually. It was just a fun time of fellowship and a great stress reliever after we survived transition time in EI!” – Emily Amerson
For team building and fall fun, everyone received a crafting kit with all of the supplies they needed, glue guns, paint, brushes and music! The team decorated their hand prints to hang a mural on the wall of their office. The hand prints will be made into the shape of a tree and the team is coming up with quotes to be included in the frame.
The Easterseals team provides service coordination, developmental services, and participates in assessments for service planning in the Roanoke Valley ITC region and also helps with the intake and initial ASP process in Central VA ITC Region.
