Happy Kids, Healthy Adults Thursday, February 28 / Wood Fellowship Hall Overflow, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Parents are invited to this free presentation by First Presbyterian Church Kristin Foster, RN. The program will cover the impact of environmental factors in brain development and coping strategies. Kristin Foster will explore the relationship between early childhood experiences and adult anxiety, depression and coping skills.

New Changing Stations Koala Kare stations have been added to the handicap stall in the Women's Restroom near the fellowship hall and on the 3rd floor of the Church Street Building (across from the copy room). We hope these will help our preschool families especially when we have church meals and when we have baptisms.

Parent Pool Question #4 Question : What helped your little one with potty training? Wait till they are ready: start pulling off diapers, interest in the toilet, etc. Take them to the potty each time you go to the the bathroom and have them sit on their potty If you have a boy, face him towards the toilet when training Have them help pick out their potty and big boy or big girl undies Dress them in clothes that are easy to remove (pulling up and down as they use the potty) Use pull-ups for sleep times, they are more like underpants Ask them every 10-15 minutes if they need to use the potty; a timer helps Have the necessary cleaning items on hand as well as changes of cloths...there will be accidents, that's just how it is.
