Infinex Rebrand Timeline, Program Disclosures & FAQs

 

Welcome to the first edition of your Rebrand News! We are thrilled to officially announce that Infinex’s name will be legally changing to Osaic Institutions. Because our firm is empowered to deliver the specific tools bank, credit union, and franchise investment programs need to thrive, Osaic has differentiated our channel’s firm name from the independent network.


This is the first of a series of Rebrand News that will be delivered on a consistent basis to provide you with the information needed for rebranding activities. Rebranding presents exciting opportunities for all of us, and we thank you for helping us with this journey! Below are key updates on Infinex’s upcoming rebranding and answers to trending questions from our programs.

Infinex Rebrand Timeline Update


While Infinex programs will still have until November 13 to rebrand print and digital materials, we are pleased to announce that Infinex Investments will legally change to its name effective Monday, October 23. By working with FINRA to provide an earlier effective date, we have more time to ensure Infinex programs and marketing teams feel supported throughout this journey.


Starting October 23, you can use materials referencing the new name. During the rebranding period from October 23 – November 13, your clients may notice the new logo, name, and disclosure change on BrokerCheck, in a rebrand notification letter, on Pershing statements, and within the Client Connect portal. There may be a period where they still see the Infinex name and logo until the rebrand to Osaic Institutions is complete.

New Rebrand Portal & Resources Live on Infinet


To ensure you know where to go for information, we have prepared a suite of resources for you on a new Rebrand Portal. The portal includes an updated FAQ sheet, advisor talking points, copies of client communications, and more. Go to Infinet > Practice Management > Osaic Institutions Rebrand Portal to access this new resource.

Investment Program Materials & Disclosure Updates


All actively used materials that mention the investment program and/or its services must be updated to reflect the new name and disclosure by November 13. Your team will want to update all internal financial institution references citing the investment program and all client-facing print and digital materials. This includes references to Infinex within brochures, posters, signage, websites, social media, business cards, voicemails, etc. If feasible for print material, you can update the firm disclosure by placing a label with the new disclosure over the old disclosure.


Within your current investment program disclosure, change any Infinex Investments, Inc. references to Osaic Institutions, Inc., and any Infinex references to Osaic Institutions. You can locate new disclosure templates on the Rebrand Portal or view them using this link.

Client Rebrand Notification & Privacy Policy


Your clients will be notified of Infinex’s rebrand to Osaic Institutions starting October 25. If your client has enrolled in e-delivery, they will receive a rebrand notification and updated privacy policy via an email from Infinex. Otherwise, the rebrand notification and privacy policy will arrive by U.S. mail. We anticipate that all client distributions will be completed by October 31. Your clients do not need to take any action because of this correspondence.

Accounts Opened October 23 – November 13: Accounts opened between October 23 and November 13 must include the rebrand notification with all other required account opening documents. The rebrand notification will be automatically included within Infinet’s new account opening process and Forms Library.
