Platform to Employment Youth Launches First Cohort |
Platform to Employment (P2E) Youth has launched its first career readiness training cohort, bringing together motivated young adults eager to define their goals and turn their dreams into reality.
A Dalio Foundation report revealed that over 119,000 Connecticut youths are disconnected from the school system and employment opportunities. P2E Youth addresses this challenge by connecting these individuals with employers, building their confidence, and equipping them with tools to secure and maintain meaningful employment.
Participants engage in a comprehensive program featuring career counseling, job placement assistance, and hands-on training. Activities include site visits, like a recent trip to Horberg Industries, and sessions with guest speakers from diverse industries, offering insights into various career paths.
With personalized guidance, mentorship from professionals, and interactive experiences, P2E Youth empower young people to explore their passions, build skills, and take confident steps toward their future careers.
