MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Dear parents,

We enjoyed our first full week of school as students became acquainted with their teachers, reconnected with friends, met some new classmates, and returned to routine. We were also so happy to welcome our youngest students to kindergarten this week.

As previously mentioned, there are some important administrative and staffing developments that we wanted to reiterate so that you would be able to better navigate the year ahead.

Talmud Torah’s administrative team:

  • Arielle Medalsy has taken on the role of Director.
  • Osnat Bitton’s role has been changed to Director of Student Services for Talmud Torah and Herzliah. At Talmud Torah, Osnat will continue to oversee the Junior and Senior Green Zones and support the Student Services Coordinators; Frederique Roy and Mira Solomon.

Parents are encouraged to communicate with their child’s teacher first. The next point of contact is the Cycle Coordinator as listed below.

We look forward to seeing you at curriculum night and remain available to answer all questions.

Shabbat Shalom.

Arielle Medalsy

UNIFORM

Students must wear the school uniform at all times. During the months of August, September and June, they may wear the physical education uniform every day.

COVID 19

Sanitary Measures

  • We are in the same situation as in June: no restrictions, no distancing, no obligation to wear a mask. However, the choice to wear a mask remains at the discretion of each person.

Rapid Tests

  • 2 boxes of rapid tests (10 self-tests in total) will be distributed to each child at the beginning of the school year.

Distance Learning

  • Since the public health state of emergency has been lifted, it is no longer possible to offer distance learning, even for reasons related to Covid. Distance learning was allowed by legislative order, but it is no longer in effect.
