Lift of Truck Weights for
Hurricane-Impacted Areas
Extended Through May 16

The suspension of truck weights for divisible loads on any vehicles transporting Hurricane Michael damaged timber and other silviculture products as recommended by the Commissioner of Agriculture from Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Gadsden, Liberty, Franklin, Leon, Wakulla and Jefferson Counties has been extended through May 16, 2019 .

Trucks may transport loads of salvage timber up to 95,000 lbs. Each vehicle carrying this additional weight MUST carry a copy of the FDOT  Emergency Road Use Permit  letter and a  Bridge Restriction Map  in the cab of the truck at all times or be able to access them electronically upon request .
