Subject: COVID-19 Preparedness & Response for the Village of Maple Bluff
In an effort to keep you up-to-date on the status of the Village, we wanted to provide you with the below information. We are encountering unique times, but want you to know that we are here to serve our community despite the emerging challenges. Feel free to contact the Village Center if you or your neighbors need assistance as a result of the outbreak and response. Please share this information with any of your neighbors who may not receive our correspondence.
Hours & Staffing Reduction
– The Village Hall will begin a reduction in hours on Monday, March 23
. The front office will be open from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Similarly, the Public Works department will reduce on-duty staffing by approximately 50 percent starting at the same time. Staff will rotate days of work to reduce person-to-person interactions in accordance with health official guidance. Minimal delays in service may result and we appreciate your patience. Emergency response – to include police and fire services – remain 100 percent operational despite the evolving situation.
Vote by Mail for the April 7th Election
– Maple Bluff voters are strongly urged to vote by mail for the April 7th election. You have until 5pm on April 2nd to request a ballot, but don't wait! Please visit
and click on Vote Absentee. Most voters will also need to upload a picture of their photo ID. If you encounter problems or have questions, please call Sarah Danz, Village Clerk, at 608-230-7651.
Food Options in the Village
– If you or your neighbors are in need of food options as a result of recent developments and closures, we confirmed that our local restaurants - Manna Café and Bear & Bottle - are providing pick-up options for interested customers.
Village Volunteer List
– A number of residents have asked how they can help the community right now. We are compiling a list of residents to call on should we require volunteer assistance in the near future. If you would like to be placed on the volunteer standby list, then please email your name and phone number to email@example.com.
