NEW: Assistance program to help small businesses in Dutchess County:
Title: Small Business Micro-Marketing Program Information Session
What: Dutchess County Government, Think Dutchess, Dutchess Tourism and the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to launch a “Micro Marketing” COVID recovery program. This program will provide support for small, independent businesses in Dutchess County to learn marketing best practices and funding to promote their business on digital platforms to increase visibility and expand their customer base. The webinar will provide details about the program and explain how businesses can participate in it.
Eligibility: Businesses operating exclusively in Dutchess County with 20 or less employees affected by the pandemic — either forced closed or with limited operations based on state Covid restrictions.
When: May 4, 2021, at 8 A.M. ET

SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman today announced the U.S. Small Business Administration will begin registrations on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 9 a.m. EDT and open applications on Monday, May 3, 2021, at noon EDT for the $28.6 Billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

Low-Risk Indoor & Outdoor Guidance effective Monday, April 26, 2021: Responsible Parties must ensure that the workforce and patron/visitor presence is limited to no more than 50% of the maximum occupancy for a particular area as set by the certificate of occupancy at any given time, inclusive of patrons/visitors, who must only be permitted entry into the institution if they wear an acceptable face covering, provided that the patron/visitor is over the age of two and able to medically tolerate such covering. Large-Scale Outdoor Event Venues can increase spectator capacity from 20% to 33% beginning May 19. These venues include professional and collegiate sports and live performing arts and entertainment.
- Offices can increase capacity from 50% to 75% beginning May 15.
- Social distancing, masks, health screenings and all other state health/safety protocols remain in effect.

Statewide positivity rate is 2.39%; 7-day average positivity is 2.13%, lowest since November 8. Numbers is Dutchess also continue to decrease with 665 active cases in Dutchess and 44 hospitalizations on 4/25 according to the Dutchess County COVID-19 Dashboard.
