Update for Friday, January 15, 2021
  • A "Return To Work Waiver" has been created for businesses to use for both employees who have tested positive, and those who have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive. It is encouraged that employers have employees who fall into either of these categories fill out this form prior to their return to work. The form can be found HERE.

  • A new Small Business Administration Procedural Notice has been released for all SBA employees or PPP lenders. This notice particularly deals with increasing first draw PPP loans after the enactment of the new economic aid bill. A copy of the notice can be found HERE.

  • The IRS and Treasury Department have issued guidance that allows "deductions for the payments of eligible expenses when such payments would result (or be expected to result) in the forgiveness of a loan (covered loan) under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)." A full copy of the guidance can be found HERE.
