NEW Updates For Thursday, March 11, 2021
  • In-person events can increase to 150 beginning March 15. Responsible parties are required to notify the local health departments five days in advance of the event taking place. A form was developed to make it easier for the responsible parties to submit the event information and for the county to receive and share the information. The form can be found HERE.

  • Once completed and submitted, the submitter will receive a confirmation email along with a PDF of the commissioner's orders.

  • New York State guidance permits some businesses to open more fully. These changes include wedding/event venues and arts and entertainment venues, as well as restaurants to host patrons at 75 % capacity. More details: 

  • Beginning March 15th: Weddings and Catered Events Can Resume Statewide following guidelines HERE.

  • Beginning March 19th: Restaurants can move to 75% Indoor Capacity. The Food Services guidelines will be updated with this information. 

  • Beginning March 22nd:  Non-residential Social Gatherings:
  • Indoor maximum will increase to 100 people
  • Outdoor maximum will increase to 200 people

  • Beginning March 26th: Indoor Family Entertainment Centers Can Open limited to 25% capacity – guidelines have not yet been issued. 

  • Beginning April 2nd: event, arts and entertainment venues can reopen – guidelines have not yet been issued but the following details have been released:
  • Restricted to 33% capacity, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people outdoors

  • With proof of a negative COVID test prior to entry, capacity can increase up to 150 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors

  • Beginning April 9th: Outdoor Amusement Parks can open at 33% capacity – guidelines have not yet been issued. 

  • Beginning April 1st: Domestic travelers will no longer need to quarantine upon their return to New York State if they did not come into contact with an individual who tested positive for COVID-19. This is detailed in an update found HERE.

  • International travelers will still be required to quarantine upon their arrival to New York.

  • All travelers, domestic and international, who meet the criteria found HERE to fill out a Traveler Health Form are still required to do so.
