NEW Business Resources:
  • The U.S. Small Business Administration announced extended deferment periods for all disaster loans, including the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program, until 2022.

  • All SBA disaster loans made in calendar year 2020, including COVID-19 EIDL, will have the first payment due date extended from 12-months to 24-months from the date of the note.

  • All SBA disaster loans made in calendar year 2021, including COVID-19 EIDL, will have the first payment due date extended from 12-months to 18-months from the date of the note.

  • An updated Q&A document for the Paycheck Protection Program has been released and can be found HERE.

  • The Small Business Administration (SBA), in consultation with the Department of the Treasury, has provided updated guidance to assist businesses in calculating their payroll costs (and the relevant documentation that is required to support each set of calculations) for purposes of determining the maximum amount of a First Draw Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan for each type of business. The guidance can be found HERE.

  • Additional guidance has been released for businesses seeking a second draw PPP loan that can be found HERE.
 
NYS COVID-19 Response and Vaccine Information:
  • Summary of Reopening Timeline
  • Beginning March 15: Weddings and Catered Events Can Resume Statewide following guidelines HERE.
  • Beginning March 19: Restaurants Outside New York City Can Move to 75% Indoor Capacity. The Food Services guidelines will be updated with this information.
  • Beginning March 22:
  • Residential Gatherings
  • Indoor gathering limit will continue to be restricted to 10 people
  • Outdoor gathering limit will increase to 25 people
  • Non-residential Gatherings
  • Indoor maximum will increase to 100 people
  • Outdoor maximum will increase to 200 people
  • Beginning March 26: Indoor Family Entertainment Centers Can Open limited to 25% capacity though guidelines have not yet been issued.
  • Beginning April 2: Event, Arts and Entertainment Venues Can Reopen, though guidelines have not yet been issued.
  • Restricted to 33% capacity, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people outdoors
  • With proof of a negative COVID test prior to entry, capacity can increase up to 150 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors
  • Beginning April 9: Outdoor Amusement Parks Can Open at 33% capacity though guidelines have not yet been issued.
  • 14 Community-Based Pop-Up Vaccination Sites Coming Online This Week to Vaccinate More Than 4,000 New Yorkers
  • Bolstering State's Commitment to Ensuring Fairness and Equity in Vaccine Distribution Process
  • Community-Based 'Pop Up' Vaccination Sites Have Enabled Over 54,000 New Yorkers to Receive First Dosage of Vaccine
  • Host Sites and Partner Providers Conduct Outreach Within Their Communities and Work with Community Leaders and Organizations to Identify Eligible New Yorkers and Schedule Vaccination Appointments
  • Quarantine for Domestic Travel Will No Longer Be Required Starting April 1
  • While No Longer Required, Quarantine After Domestic Travel is Still Advised as Added Precaution
  • Mandatory Quarantine Remains in Effect for International Travelers
  • All Travelers Covered Must Continue to Fill Out Traveler Health Form Upon Arrival Into New York State
