Thank You to Our Centennial Community

Centennial's Caring and Sharing Committee would like to thank everyone who helped contribute to the "GIVE THANKS" gift card drive this year!   It was a great success, with the highest dollar amount collected,   EVER!!!  When we ask KNIGHTS to GIVE THANKS they do it BIG!!!

The Caring and Sharing Committee helps collect gift cards and other items to help Centennial families who are underserved during the holiday season and throughout the year.  We work closely with the school social worker to help families who are in need of basic necessities.  You can donate money and gift cards
all year long  by dropping off your donations in the front office or contacting me, Cindy Soder at

Thank you to everyone who helped collect change in the carpool lanes and to those who gave to this great cause!!!

Congratulations to Centennial Principal Kibbey Crumbley for being named Principal of the Month for December for the Northeast Learning Community!!  We certainly could not agree more with the selection.  Thank you to Ms. Crumbley for all that she tirelessly does for our Centennial community.  You have done so much for us, but yes we know, our best days are ahead!!  Pictured here with all of the other Centennial cluster principals!

PTSA Senior Service Scholarship Opportunity!

Each year the Centennial High School PTSA offers several scholarships, some up to $1000, recognizing exceptional dedication to volunteerism among the senior class students. These scholarships will be awarded to students who best exemplify the PTSA's ideals of outstanding commitment of service to others in our school, community and world.

Any graduating senior with a GPA of 80 or higher who is enrolling at a college, university or technical institute of higher learning may apply. Applicants (or their families) must be a member of the PTSA by the end of the first semester to be eligible.

Applications and a detailed description are now available at the PTSA website and are due in the front office by Friday, March 25 th at 3:30pm. All applicants are encouraged to attend one of two workshops which will take place 1/19 and 1/26. This short workshop will provide students with an overview of the application and selection process, an opportunity to ask questions and learn about how to complete an application which best reflects the quality, diversity, leadership roles and overall impact of their community service over the past four years.

If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Barone, Scholarship Committee Chair, at

Happy and Safe Holidays to Everyone!!
See You Next Year.

  Fundraising at CHS

Remember to Use your Publix Scan Cards!

Do you know that the CHS PTSA has received over $14,000 from Publix over the years?!  That is a lot of money - and it takes no effort at all.  Just use your scan card every time that you make a purchase at Publix.  If you do not have a scan card, you can get one at the front desk.  They are available throughout the school year.  You or your student can pick up extra cards for grandparents, friends and neighbors to use.  Everyone buys groceries, and having these cards scanned when you shop at Publix is an easy way to help CHS PTSA!

Connect your Target Card to Centennial!
Make sure that you link Centennial to your Target Credit Cards.  Last year, Centennial received $1279.37 from Target!
Target REDCard sends 1% of purchases to our school and saves you 5% at Target stores every time you shop - another win-win!
