Dear ticket holder for Hard Times and Hope ,

We look forward to seeing you Saturday for Hard Times and Hope: Songs of Struggle from the Dust Bowl to the Blue Ridge and Dorothea Lange’s America at Reynolda. We wanted to share a few details to help you prepare for what promises to be a memorable concert and meaningful afternoon.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Your concert ticket is good for Museum admission all day, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can arrive as early as you like, but we recommend arriving at Reynolda no later than 2:30 p.m. to allow time for parking and taking your seats. Doors to the 3 p.m. concert auditorium will open at 2:30 p.m.

Free parking is available in lots surrounding the Museum. However, due to anticipated crowds, overflow parking will be accessible in nearby Reynolda Village. We encourage you to allow extra travel time because of road construction taking place on Reynolda Road. More info →

A FEW TIPS

  • Non-flash photography is welcome in the Dorothea Lange exhibition; no photography will be allowed in the concert. (And, please remember to silence your phones.)
  • The musicians will be available for a brief time after the show for autographs.
  • Please leave large bags, food, and drinks outside the Museum. You can store umbrellas, strollers, backpacks, and water bottles in our complimentary coat room upon arrival.

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO?

We encourage you to make a day out of your concert ticket. Come in the morning to see the collections of Reynolda , browse the gardens , then grab brunch or lunch in the Village . Return in time to see Dorothea Lange’s America before doors to the concert auditorium open at 2:30 p.m. NOTE: the exhibition will not be open after the concert.

Still have questions?

See you Saturday!
