October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each year the Quilt of Hope travels throughout the County to raise awareness about local victims and their struggles. Learn more about Domestic Violence on the Auglaize County Crisis Center's website and view the Quilt of Hope at one of the following display locations.

West Ohio Community Action Partnership has funds available for individuals and families struggling to pay high bills associated with heating costs. They can also help with some rent/mortgage payments for families.

St Marys Tailgate for Cancer-October

Due to the pandemic the Tailgate will be forgoing its larger event on October 17th. Please consider checking out their website at www.tailgateforcancer.com and get involved in their virtual offerings. The Tailgate donated over $16,000 to the Cancer Association of Auglaize County last year...please consider supporting their events this year!

October Coat Drive

Agape Ministries is hosting an October coat drive to help people stay warm this winter. Consider donating at their location or in a barrel throughout town.

Live on the Eastern side of the County? Mercy Unlimited accepts coats as well as other gently used items to help families in need as well.

Many Ways to Enjoy a book!

It's never to early to teach a love of reading! Children 0-5 are eligible for a free book a month by signing up here.

All of the Auglaize County library locations are offering reservation and pick-up. Whether you use the drive thru in Wapakoneta, schedule a curbside pick-up in St Marys, or come by in person all the libraries are open and ready to help you find your next favorite book.
