Parent Recharge Groups Now Online
Join us online to connect with other parents and grandparents at our three new virtual parent groups . We will share resources, discuss how things are going and talk about what is working well as we get used to our new normal. No registration necessary.

We understand that your children may be in the background while we all meet together, and that is fine. You can place yourself on mute if it gets noisy at your house and listen to the conversation … then join in when you are ready.

Groups are listed below and always on our website calendar .

Join Our Private Facebook Group for Parents and Grandparents
We have set up a private Facebook group for parents to connect with one another during this time of “social distancing.”

This online community is a place where you can get inspiration and support as you experience the joy and frustration that come with being a parent or grandparent in today’s complicated world. It can be really comforting to know that you are not alone. All parents, grandparents, foster parents and caregivers are welcome to join in the conversations.
Call Us For Support
Even though we cannot meet in person right now, we in the Family Center are still here for you. If you need to talk with someone:
  • for help with a parenting concern
  • to find a specific resource
  • to vent your frustrations or celebrate your successes
We are available to listen and help.

Call us and leave a message, and we will get back to you within 24 hours, or the next business day: (603) 422-8209
Or email us anytime: Georgie , Patrice , Parkie

Daily structure , bedtime routines, exercise and movement, staying connected and reaching out for help are some of the ideas that can make a difference.
Indoor Activities For A Rainy Day
Keeping little kids entertained inside takes creativity (and lots of energy). Check out these 5 easy indoor activities from the popular blog Days with Grey.

Getting kids involved in the kitchen is another good idea. Visit Allrecipes.com for inspiration and cooking tips for kid-friendly meals.

Here is something new to add to your child's bedtime routine. Dolly Parton reads The Little Engine That Could in the first video of her new read-aloud series, "Goodnight with Dolly." In this series, Dolly reads select Imagination Library books, all carefully chosen for their appropriate content at this moment in time.
