PBS KIDS for Parents and Caregivers
PBS KIDS for Parents has a page dedicated to COVID-19 Resources for parents and caregivers. There are ideas on how kids can continue to learn at home through play and in everyday routines, different ways to offer comfort and security and how to care for yourself, too. School closures, social distancing and working remotely or working less is a lot to navigate. It can be overwhelming but know that for your child, you are enough. Read more (From PBS.org)
Imagination Library Book Spotlight
The book begins with a heartwarming scene between a human parent and child, but moves on to loving care in many animal families. "He sings me songs," says a gray wolf cub. "He keeps me safe and warm," says a young penguin. Children will love reading about how baby animals spend time with their dads, and daddies everywhere will love celebrating this story with their little ones.

Accompanying Activity for this Book: Fine Motor
Fine motor activities allow children to build up the muscles in their fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.

This activity offers your child a chance to practice their scissor skills as well as their story recall skills as they match the daddy animal to the baby animal.

An additional activity that goes along with this title comes from TeachingStation.com. Create a mini-book for dad!
