As the International Builders’ Show (IBS) prepares for an unforgettable return to Las Vegas Feb. 27-29,2024, four Florida Schools are sending FIVE teams to compete in the annual NAHB Student Competition. In case you missed it, Bartow High School took home First Place in the Nation in Construction Management and Gadsden Tech took home Second Place in the Nation in Architectural Design. New to the competition is Leesburg High School and Florida A&M (2 Teams). The competition features students from across the country using the construction management skills learned in the classroom to address real world home building scenarios.
It will be expensive for our schools to travel to Las Vegas and they are well underway with fundraising to pay their expenses but it won't be enough to cover the cost. If you would like to support their efforts, please click below to donate to help cover their costs.
