hat do Amelia Earhart, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Albert Einstein have in common? They all showed up (along with some of their friends) in the second-grade classrooms at Blacklick Elementary on April 4!
A few weeks before, the second-grade students began a biography project which included researching and writing a biography about a historical figure. Students chose their favorite person and worked diligently on their research and writing quite impressive biographies to share.
The biography project concluded with the celebrated "Biography Wax Museum." On April 4, students were asked to dress as the person in which they researched, or create a visual representation of their historical figure. Parents and other Blacklick classrooms were invited to visit the "exhibit" and hear the famous "wax figure" speak about their life.
