We are so excited to welcome you all back on Monday!! Here are some reminders about the first day of school and the rest of Week 1!  

On Monday, all in-person learners must arrive at 7:55 am. All eLeaners must Zoom into their first period class at 9:30 am. All students will be dismissed at 11:55 am

Symptom Screening on App: All parents/guardians must complete their symptom app check prior to 7:00 am (by 6:30 am for bus riders)
  • Later this evening, parents/guardians will receive an email that will be from “Welcome to the COVID-19 Response Management Application” from the email address appiantrial@appian.com that will inform you how to set up the app on your device. This must be completed in order to complete your symptom screening on Monday. Students: please check with your parents/guardians to make sure they got this email. If they did not, please have them email Mrs. Susan Tindall at stindall@trinityhs.org.

Entering the Building: When students arrive, they will not be admitted until 7:55 am and must wait outside socially distanced.  
While students are now admitted to the building later than in previous years, parents/guardians who are waiting in cars with their student waiting for the building to open must park on Berkshire, Jackson or Division and MAY NOT wait parked in Trinity’s parking lot as the spots are reserved for faculty, staff and students. 

Students will enter by alpha order at the following doors and report directly to their Lunch Circle Classroom (after day one, you will report directly to your first period class).
 
Your lunch circle teachers will email you the room number for your indoor lunch circle location by tomorrow morning at 9:00 am (Saturday 8/22/20).
  • ENTRANCE 1-- Choral Room: Students A-E
  • ENTRANCE 2-- Lathrop North: Students F-K
  • ENTRANCE 3-- Lathrop Main: Students L-Q
  • ENTRANCE 4-- Division/Chapel: Students R-Z
PPE:
  • Masks Required: It is required for all members of the school community to wear masks while on campus, both in and out of the building. If 6 feet apart and outdoors, masks may be removed. Masks must be cloth, solid color, and must fit over the nose and under the chin, with straps that loop behind the ears or tie behind the head. The following are not permitted: gaiters/balaclavas, no scarves, no bandannas. 
  • FORGETTING A MASK: Students will not be admitted into the building without a mask. If a student forgets her mask, she may purchase one for $1. Entrance moderators will report names of students who forget masks, and if a student forgets her mask repeatedly, a phone call will be made home.
  • MASK REQUIREMENT POLICY VIOLATION: During the first week of school, all Trinity community members will be given reminders if a violation occurs. After the first week, if a student fails to remain masked, she will be issued a lunch detention. Parents will be notified of violations. Should a student be in violation more than five times, she will be placed on Disciplinary Probation. 
  • Recommended: Personal sized kleenex to carry in your bags; Personal hand sanitizer (in addition to what’s provided in classrooms and offices); Disinfectant wipes (in addition to what’s provided in classrooms and offices)

Uniform:
  • Trinity students are allowed to wear Trinity-wear. They are allowed to wear Trinity-wear tops (including their Trinity uniform shirt) OR a plain white or navy shirt (bare midriffs, low cut tops, strapless and tanks are not allowed in school) with shorts, pants or skirts. Students must wear closed toe shoes (athletic shoes are permitted during Out of Uniform Days). Open-toed shoes, sandals, flip-flops, slippers and backless shoes are not allowed. Students may still opt to be in full uniform through October 1, 2020 and may alternate between full uniform and Trinity-wear. Trinity’s dress code will still consist of the following during Out of Uniform Days: 
  • Students must have School ID on them at all times
  • EARBUDS/HEADPHONES, while course requirements, may not be worn until teachers grant permission to do so; they may not be worn in the hallways
  • Any student coming to school with visible body piercings other than ear piercings will be asked to remove the jewelry and the jewelry will be confiscated.

Wednesdays are eLearning days for ALL:

Wednesday Schedule
  • 8:00 am - Google Form Attendance Due 
  • 8:00 am - 10:30 am - Various Faculty Meetings and Training
  • 8:00 am -11:00 am - Classwork & Counseling 

--Classwork: Students must complete google form attendance by 8:00 am. Student work time (45 min per class) for Wednesday coursework that will be assigned in class on Tuesday and on Google classroom. This independent work time, not synchronous contact with teachers. 

--Counseling: eLearners will meet with counselors for appointments (in lieu of classroom pullouts M, T, Th, F) (aside from 9/9, 10/7 when Faculty Staff meetings are happening)

  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm - School-wide community building events/Class Meetings (prayer service, assembly, etc..) - NOTE: These will not happen every week
  • 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm - LUNCH - No Meetings Permitted
  • 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm - Office Hours & “3A - 3B Support”

--Teacher Office Hours: All teachers must be available electronically to their students 
--Counselor Office Hours
--Mazzuchelli center tutoring takes place 
--CAS meetings with CAS Coordinator 
--Choir 

  • 1:40 pm - 3:00 pm - Extracurricular Activities period - clubs “meet” virtually (club scheduling details to be communicated by VP of Student Life, Mrs. Bedell)
