Informational Call for Iowa Eviction and Foreclosure
´╗┐Prevention Program Administrative Support
The statewide eviction and foreclosure moratorium has provided short-term relief to thousands of Iowa renters and homeowners who have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these Iowans will face significant housing hardships in the months ahead when the moratorium ends but the effects of job loss, economic distress and past due payments linger.

NEW EVICTION AND FORECLOSURE PREVENTION PROGRAM

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) will soon be launching a statewide Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention Program that will provide short-term relief to income-eligible renters and homeowners. IFA will be soliciting agencies to assist in the program administration through a competitive application process. Only organizations or partnerships of organizations that demonstrate the capacity to assist in statewide program administration will be considered.

An informational meeting for organizations interested in applying will be held on Friday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. This meeting will provide an overview of the program, agency requirements, selection process and timeline.

Please note: due to the emergency nature of this program, the application and launch timeline will be condensed.  The application will be available at iowahousingrecovery.com beginning on Friday, May 22.
