Micki O'Neil Wins 2023 Gerri Allen Outstanding Communicator Award

Last week, at the Board of Education meeting, Ingham ISD’s Chief Communications Officer, Micki O’Neil, was presented with the 2023 Gerri Allen Outstanding School Communicator Award. This award recognizes a practicing school communicator for outstanding leadership in school public relations and communications. Thank you to Tom Gould, President of the Michigan School Public Relations Association, for attending and presenting Micki with this well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Micki! #InghamImpact 

Wilson Talent Center Open House

Save the Date! The Wilson Talent Center will host its annual Open House on Wednesday, December 13, from 4:30-7:30pm. This is an opportunity for prospective students and their family members to visit and learn more about programming opportunities for fall of 2024. Guests can meet with instructors, learn about various curriculums, see the facilities and get their enrollment questions answered. There is no formal program. Guests can visit anytime between 4:30-7:30pm. Please join us! 

A Guide to Digital Responsibility 

In response to the challenges posed by technology's rapid growth, and its impact on students, Safer Schools Together has created the "Raising Digitally Responsible Youth – A Parent's Guide." This resource equips families with insights into popular social media platforms, video games and emerging digital trends. With this guide, parents can stay informed and engage in important conversations about responsible technology use with their children.
