Educational Careers Program Off to a Great Start

The first class in the Wilson Talent Center's new Educational Careers program is off to a great start this fall. Students in this program are learning key components in the education and childcare fields including child development and classroom management as well as lesson and activity design. Students will then have the opportunity to utilize their training in real-world classroom settings as well as earn industry certifications. The goal of this program is to help address the nationwide teacher shortage. #InghamImpact

Michigan Learning Channel Fellowship

PBS and the Michigan Learning Channel bring you the Iconic Michigan Teacher Fellowship. This fellowship is a paid opportunity for educators across Michigan to learn from and use content from the PBS series "Iconic America," be a part of developing new content based on teaching experiences, and support student-led learning as they incorporate learning into community storytelling and media production projects. The goals of this fellowship are to build community and capacity among Michigan teachers who care about innovative and media-driven teaching and learning. You do not need any experience working with or creating media to apply!
