Since 1989, the Superstars in Education awards program has highlighted more than 200 educational programs for innovative and impactful programming. Superstars in Education recognizes the importance of contributions to workforce development and career preparation and advancement. This year we are focusing on education and workforce development partnerships—programs that contribute to preparing Delaware’s workforce for success, whether through high school programs, post-secondary opportunities, or independent training and certificate programming.

Deadline to apply is Friday, January 14, 2022 at 4:30 pm.

I’m old school and have worn a wristwatch my entire adult life. In fact, I’ve had the same timepiece on my left wrist since the mid-90s. It’s as much a part of me as my glasses. Mispillion River Brewing was one of many stops in this year’s Taste of Delaware tour, held to honor many small businesses in the First State. U.S. Senator Chris Coons, along with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, brought back the Taste of Delaware, but this year was on wheels.

“It’s a great opportunity to meet with some of our small local businesses. It’s a way to encourage them as we’re coming out of this pandemic and to listen to some of their concerns and to frankly have a good time together,” said Senator Coons. Read more >
