Innovation Day 
Saturday, October 19 from 1-5pm
Discover, Dabble, Do-It-Yourself at Wilton Library's annual Innovation Day! Join us for a festival of making, creating and demonstrating. Explore, Try, Learn and Have Fun! Test out virtual reality; ride a Hovercraft; try your hand at calligraphy or Zentangle Art; make jewelry, gift tags, button pins and thumbprint magnets; experiment with LEDs; watch 3-D printing; meet the Wilton Library Robotics team; get a Henna or spray tattoo; paint pumpkins donated by Wilton Kiwanis; meet four-legged friends from ROAR and Mutt-i-grees; have a Green Screen photo taken; meet a silk screen artist and a quilter who makes her own dyes; personalize a luggage tag and so much more! Bubble & Brew will be parked outside selling their delicious drinks and baked goods. The day is free and open to all ages! Certain activities will have a nominal fee to offset costs. CT's Own Concert: Nick Revel - Letters To My Future Self - Original Works for Electroacoustic Viola
Sunday, October 20 @4pm
Wilton's own Nick Revel, a violist, improviser, composer, and educator, will perform his debut album, which he has transformed into a solo concert. His performance will take the audience on a musical journey through the inside of his mind and break preconceived notions of what a viola can do in a constantly morphing soundscape of genres. Nick is the founding violist of PUBLIQuartet which has been presented by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the MET Museum, the National Gallery, Carnegie Hall, Joyce Theater, Dizzy's Coca Cola Club, and Newport Jazz Festival. Breast Cancer Survivors' Support Group
Tuesday, October 15 @6pm
Post-treatment breast cancer survivors are invited to join in this monthly support group led by Nina Marino, LCSW. Nina was the Clinical Director of the former Breast Cancer Survival Center and is a breast cancer survivor.  More info & register
Author Talk: Scott Pelley - Truth Worth Telling: A Reporter's Search for Meaning in the Stories of Our Times
Thursday, October 17 @7pm 
In Truth Worth Telling, the former CBS Evening News anchor and much admired 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley reflects upon some of his most dramatic, moving, and inspiring encounters in the field and how they exemplify what is good about humanity both in America and abroad. With straightforward storytelling skills of a seasoned journalist, Pelley shares private recollections of very public moments as well as intimate portraits of courage, hope, determination and humanity. As a counterbalance to the divisive partisanship that has split the nation, Pelley offers a book about values, ethics, and the importance of telling the truth. Q&A will follow the talk. Night Time Knitters
Tuesday, October 15 @6pm
Grab your needles and yarn and come join this informal group. Make friends, get tips and share ideas while working on your own project. Drop-in session. No registration required. No fee. Additional Night Time Knitters sessions are scheduled for Tuesday evenings, October 22, November 12, 19 & 26.
