All Courses now officially in Canvas
All UW-Parkside courses will be hosted in Canvas from this point forward.

Please keep an eye out for student resources in the August and September newsletters. We'll be creating a brand new resources course with information on Canvas, as well as third party tools for online learning.

If you ever have questions about Canvas or how to use some of the functionality, please remember that Tier 1 Support is available 24-7, 365 days a year . You can chat, call, or email directly with Tier 1 Support. The support resources are located under the Help menu on the black navigation bar.

NEW Online Student Resources Course
The Innovations in Learning team has created a robust online resources course for all students to self-enroll into.

Not only will you have access to Canvas resources, but there's also support documentation on NetTutor, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, Kaltura, library resources, and more.

The course is a great resource if you have any questions about using online technologies while enrolled at UW-Parkside. Please click here to self-enroll in the course , or access the self-enrollment link from the Canvas logins page.

Note: If you had already enrolled in the Canvas Student Resources course previously, don't worry. This course is just adding additional resources to that existing course, so you won't need to re-enroll into anything new.

Student FAQ Page Created for Canvas
A website with frequently asked questions is available now as a resource for students about Canvas.

If you have a quick question, consult the FAQ page to find answers to questions such as "where do I find all of my courses?"

If there are additional questions you have that may be beneficial to other students, feel free to email your question to [email protected] and we'll add your question to the FAQ page .

Please note, both the faculty/staff FAQs and the student FAQs are on the same page. If you're looking for the student resources, you'll need to scroll down.

NetTutor added to Canvas Navigation Bar
The online tutoring service NetTutor has now been added to the course navigation bar of Canvas. Regardless of which course you're in, you will see the NetTutor link on the left side menu of the course.

NetTutor is the free-to-students tutoring service available 24 hours a day. Meet with a tutor for a live tutoring session, or drop off a paper for review.

NetTutor is only available through the Canvas learning management system and is not available through the UWP website or D2L.
