“I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UIC, and much of my education relating to gearing was learned on the job here at IRGCO. I have been trained on utilizing our Wenzel CMM to inspect parts with greater accuracy so our team can continue to create high quality parts.”
What do you like best about working at Innovative Rack & Gear?
“Working at Innovative Rack & Gear has given me many opportunities for growth, knowledge, and networking. Having the opportunity to display our work at the Gear Expo (now the Motion Power and Technology Expo) was a great experience and provided me the understanding of just how vast the gearing industry is.”
Share your perspective on the evolution of the company over your time at Innovative Rack & Gear.
“Innovative Rack & Gear has grown in capacity and quality with communication improving both internally and with our customers/vendors. Additionally, there have been large improvements in the software that we utilize on a daily basis including Mastercam and SolidWorks allowing us to machine more complicated parts much more efficiently. With the implementation of our ISO system and our certification in June of 2019, many business opportunities opened up and I’m sure IRGCO will continue to grow in the coming years.”

Innovative Rack & Gear is unique due to the niche market that we have situated ourselves in, and we machine parts that very few companies can create. We consistently produce great quality parts due to improved tooling and processes.”
What are your personal interests?
“I enjoy listening to audio books, learning about new machining processes or ways to improve efficiency, and spending time with family.”
