Atlanta Public Schools is looking for a self-motivated Special Education Paraprofessional to support teachers in meeting the educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities in the classroom and community. This position reports to the School Principal and will be assigned to be physically present in the school building location.

Ms. Jackie, affectionately known as our ray of sunshine, effortlessly brightens each day with her warmth and positivity. Managing the influx of hundreds of phone calls and walk-ins daily for the Human Resources Division, she remains steadfast and dedicated. Ms. Jackie takes pride in guiding individuals through the APS community, using her infectious smile to alleviate burdens and uplift spirits along the way.

National Single Parent Day


APS understands and recognizes the unconditional love, support and sacrifices parents make daily, especially those parenting without a teammate. On March 21 we invite you to join us in celebrating National Single Parents Day by recognizing these heroes in a thoughtful and inclusive way. Next Man Up


We invite men from across the district, young and old, to join us at the Next Man Up Men’s Conference hosted by the Male Engagement Network! Atlanta Hawks x APS Tickets


Join us April 3, for an APS Ticket Package at State Farm Arena for a special ticket offer as the Atlanta Hawks take on the Detroit Pistons. Student Chef Competition


The APS Nutrition Department is thrilled to announce the Clever Cooks Student Chef Competition at Maynard Jackson High School on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Come and cheer on the finalists as they compete live at the event.
