"Those that seek positions of greater responsibility at any level of the Fraternity - from Chapter Historian to General President - should be reminded that our role is not to be served, but to be Servants of All."

- A Servant-Leader

The Southern Region proudly congratulates Brother Maurice D. Fench, Jr. on his recent installation as Southern Regional Assistant Vice-President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

A senior at the University of West Georgia, Brother Fench is pursuing a degree in Economics while exemplifying excellence both inside and outside the classroom. His commitment to servant-leadership is evident through his service as President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and as a Campus Ambassador, where he continues to foster collaboration, scholarship, and student engagement across the university community.

As Alpha Phi Alpha continues to develop leaders who transform communities and shape the future, Brother Fench rises as an outstanding example of the Fraternity's mission in action. His accomplishments remind us that leadership is not defined by title alone, but by the lasting impact one has on others through character, integrity, and purposeful service.

Congratulations, Brother Fench, on this well-deserved achievement. We look forward to your continued leadership and the many contributions you will make to Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Alpha South.
