| | Annual cybersecurity training is now open | | | Understanding cybersecurity can feel overwhelming, but RTD’s annual training simplifies things. It walks you through spotting and reporting cybersecurity threats, such as unauthorized access to sensitive data or potential leaks that could impact the agency. | |
The annual training was launched yesterday as part of the Cybersecurity team’s efforts to equip employees with the knowledge to use computing resources securely and to recognize and report cybersecurity incidents.
Salaried employees and select represented employees who regularly use computers should have received an email notification to complete the training. The course, available in Workday, typically takes 30-45 minutes to finish. Employees can access the training by selecting “Learning” from the Workday menu or by clicking the link below. The training must be completed by April 30.
Employees who notice anything out of the ordinary with technology, such as suspicious emails or unusual system activity, should promptly report it to the IT Service Desk. Staying alert and proactive plays a crucial role in safeguarding the agency.
For questions about the training, email csaware@training.rtd-denver.com.
