Kudos to employees braving the elements to deliver service

I would like to express sincere appreciation for our frontline teams and highly skilled operators who carry out their duties for our customers and community during freezing temperatures and winter weather. This includes our Maintenance of Way team, who work diligently overnight, before the sun rises, to improve our system and help lift slow zones.

FlexRide operator strategically reduces customer's wait time

I spoke with Mauricio Ovalle tonight and he was very helpful. I had a very stressful day, and my FlexRide was not going to work out for me because I had a 45-minute wait between rides. He modified my ride to where it would work for me, and he really helped me out.

Volunteers needed to support customers during upcoming service disruption

RTD will perform track maintenance between I-25•Broadway and Southmoor stations starting Tuesday, Jan. 28, through Thursday, Jan. 30. Light rail service will be impacted in a full 72-hour shutdown while crews will work to mitigate railhead surface defects through rail grinding. E and H line trains will not operate between I-25•Broadway Station and Southmoor, so customers will need to use bus shuttles or other existing bus routes to make connections in and out of Downtown Denver.

To support customers during this planned service disruption, the Communications and Engagement Team needs volunteers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning for one-hour shifts. If you are available, please use the link below to sign up for one of the available times. Volunteers will be invited to a Teams briefing from 11 a.m. to noon tomorrow with information about the service disruption, followed by email instructions for assisting customers.

Please contact Business Program Manager Betsy Hinojosa (betsy.hinojosa@rtd-denver.com) if you have questions.
