Kristy Sena, Parts Clerk, Warehouse (25 years)

“I’m 47. Born and raised in Denver. Started at RTD in 2000. Have two girls. Have a wife. It’s been pretty good here. I mean, 25 years – I can’t complain. I’ve been in the warehouse 20 years. I started cleaning the buses in Service & Cleaning.

“I like it here. The crew is very fun – they just make my day, pretty much. You’ve got to have good people to work with in order to love your job, and so that’s a big difference."

Parts clerk Gwendolyn Baldwin celebrates 25 years of service

Last week, colleagues at District Shops paused to recognize 25 years of service by parts clerk Gwendolyn Baldwin, who has been a mainstay at the division for most of that time. Outside of a brief period at Platte after she was first hired, Baldwin has spent most of her career in the body shop. At District Shops, she has also worked in the central warehouse, unit shop and support fleet.

“Gwen is a parts clerk – and so much more,” said Maintenance Operating Division Manager Orlo Petersen. “She is always upbeat, has a ready smile to brighten your day and is ready to help with whatever comes her way. She is also our resident cook and spoils the body shop crew (whom she calls her extended family) often. Gwen plans to retire toward the end of this year but has promised to come back from time to time to cook breakfast.”

Information specialist's due diligence makes for positive interaction

I wanted to share what a fantastic job Amanda DeGolier did helping me today. She really went out of her way to make sure I understood everything she was telling me. She was so patient and kind, and she even gave me several other options as well. At the end of our call, she said that if I had any other questions, I could call back and get more help.

He explained what was going on, was super helpful and patient, and let people on the bus even when it cut into his break time. His name was Lance Brackett.
