RTD announced earlier this month that it is offering two Zero Fare to Vote days this year, to encourage voter participation in Tuesday’s general election. Behind the scenes, Transit Police is working in support of election security and to support RTD customers, with higher ridership anticipated on the zero-fare days. Speed restrictions lifted between Oxford·City of Sheridan, Englewood stations | |

D Line trains have resumed normal speeds along this segment of the Southwest Corridor. The 10-mile-per-hour speed restrictions were implemented over the summer and remained in place until necessary maintenance work could be completed. Along the D Line, two speed restrictions remain in place, causing moderate delays in total travel time along the corridor. | |

RTD celebrates Halloween at BOOnion Station | |
Last Thursday, RTD representatives from Bus Operations, Community Engagement, Transit Police, Customer Care and Capital Programs handed out candy to hundreds of children and families at the 10th annual BOOnion Station Trick-or-Treat Street Parade.
RTD hosted a pumpkin-patch-themed booth at Union Station featuring pumpkins painted by Customer Care employees. Alongside the candy, children enjoyed stickers, junior Transit Police badges and transit-themed trading cards. Click the link below to view photos from the event.

Johnson joined Denver Mayor Mike Johnston; Amy Ford, Executive Director of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI); and Shoshana Lew, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in hosting a visit from Polly Trottenberg, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). During the visit last week, Johnson provided a tour of Denver Union Station and the future East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit corridor. | |

I had difficulty walking, and the driver of Route 15L to Aurora Metro Center Station stopped and waited for me while I made my way to the stop at Sable and Bayaud. He is so kind and thoughtful.
