Dear ASID San Diego Chapter Members,
The end of my term is coming into view, and I must admit it feels bittersweet. As I reflect on the goals we set for this year, I am especially proud that this month we are taking an important step toward one of my biggest priorities: helping the public understand the value of working with a professional interior designer.
Our ASID San Diego Chapter is here not only to support our members, but also to serve as a trusted resource for the community. We can help connect homeowners with qualified designers in their area who have the expertise to address their unique design challenges and bring their vision to life.
This month, registration opens for our Fall Spruce Up event. Spruce Up is an important fundraiser for our chapter and a wonderful opportunity for designers to give back by sharing a small amount of their time. It also gives members of the public an affordable introduction to the tremendous value a professional interior designer can provide.
For the first time, our chapter has dedicated marketing funds specifically to promoting our members and our organization. This month, ASID San Diego and the Fall Spruce Up program will be featured in San Diego Magazine, along with several beautiful projects showcased during our most recent Home Tour. We are also working with The Coast News to strengthen our visibility and presence throughout North County.
If you have not yet signed up to participate in Fall Spruce Up, this is the year to get involved. Give back to your chapter, meet prospective clients, and help us demonstrate the value of our profession to homeowners throughout San Diego County. We hope to have more clients and designers than ever before. Join us! Try it out.
Together, we can strengthen our design community while helping more people discover what is possible when they work with a professional interior designer.
