ZERO WASTE TIPS OF THE WEEK
|
|
Have you considered what takes up the most space in your waste? Is it food packaging, toys, or clothing? Next time you are putting out your garbage, think about if there are ways to reduce that material.
Here are a few tips to help get you started:
- Choose reusable produce bags instead of plastic;
- Waste less food. Shop smarter, sharpen food-storage skills and create an “eat me first bin” for your fridge;
- Use reusable wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets;
- Pack litter-less lunches; and
- Compost.
