Dear disciples of Jesus at Immanuel Lutheran,
Life can sometimes be exhausting. Besides what tires us out physically, we can feel tired emotionally, weighed down by the brokenness of our world and lives. When we gather each week as a community for worship, we are given strength and hope for the journey. Our spirits are lifted as we sing and give praise to our God who is with us, so we will not grow weary in doing what is right.
See you in church,
Pastor Gretchen
|
|
O God, the protector of all who trust in you, without you nothing is strong, nothing is holy. Embrace us with your mercy, that with you as our ruler and guide, we may live through what is temporary without losing what is eternal, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Amen.

“
Growing in the Grace of Giving”
We Are Still Accepting Pledges for 2020 !
|
|
As a reminder, we officially completed our Stewardship campaign,
Growing in the
Grace of Giving
, on Reformation Sunday, October 27, 2019. We celebrated together by bringing forward our estimate of giving cards during Offering at both services and then finished with a great Oktoberfest luncheon. Thank you to all members who have already completed their pledge cards. If you weren’t able to join us that day, you still have an opportunity to support all the wonderful ways God is at work through our Immanuel ministries. Please set aside some quiet time to reflect on the gifts God has so graciously bestowed on us and entrusted to our care. Then prayerfully consider how you can use these gifts of time, talents and treasure to further the mission of Immanuel Lutheran Church, “to share God’s gift of love with all”. Every gift is welcome—no gift is too small. Finally, please
consider completing a pledge card and placing it in the offering plate at one of the Sunday services, or drop it off or mail it to the church office at: Immanuel Lutheran Church,
707 W. Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. Thank You!
