Winter has come to a close. Congratulations to Vladimir Prosikhin's NIKA, the crowned champion of the 2017-2018 Melges 20 Miami Winter Series! Watch the highlight video here from the final event in the Series. Up next is a double-header in Charleston!

First event of the spring! The European Division of the Melges 20 World League trained together in preparation for the start of the season this past weekend on the beautiful Italian island of Ischia in the city of Forio. Congratulations t o Krzysztof Krempec's MAG TINY on winning this warm-up event. The first official event of the European Division is in the same location April 20-22.

"I was really impressed with how stiff the new boat was in the waves. It felt really strong. When you get a new boat, that's one of your biggest concerns, but I was very impressed with this one," said Scott Slocum after racing his new 2018 Melges MC for the first time. "It's kind of a combination of the old and the new. I think it's the perfect combination. I really like it."
