Dear Inside Safe Providers, 


This message serves as a final reminder regarding the upcoming HMIS inventory reconfiguration for all Inside Safe programs. On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, LAHSA will transition Inside Safe inventory management from a household/unit-based assignment model to an individual bed-based assignment model. 


As outlined in our previous communications, LAHSA is providing workflow training materials to prepare for this implementation and is now approaching the go-live date.  



This enhancement will improve reporting accuracy, inventory utilization tracking, and alignment with Los Angeles City reporting requirements. The updated inventory structure will also provide greater visibility into program capacity and occupancy while supporting more consistent inventory management practices across the Inside Safe portfolio.
