May 2026

As graduation season arrives, we would like to congratulate all of our Saints seniors on their graduation and thank them for the dedication, leadership, and pride they have shown throughout their time at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. The Class of 2026 has left a lasting impact on our school community, classrooms, and athletic programs, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their time as Saints.

In this month’s Athletics Newsletter, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with STA alumna Caitlin Dallmeyer as she returned to campus to speak with students about social media safety and digital responsibility. We are also excited to introduce our new girls' hockey coach, Colleen Fagan, and share updates on where several of our senior student-athletes will continue their academic and athletic journeys next year.

In addition, you will find highlights and updates from all of our spring athletic teams as the postseason quickly approaches. While graduation marks the close of one chapter, Saints Athletics is far from finished. We encourage the entire STA community to continue supporting our teams as we look to finish the 2025-2026 school year strong.

Let’s go, Saints Nation!

God Bless,

David Morissette – Director of Athletics

STA/DOV/WIN Announce Colleen Fagan

as Girls Hockey Coach

St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Winnacunnet High School, and Dover High School recently announced the hiring of Colleen Fagan as the new Head Coach of the St. Thomas Aquinas/Dover/Winnacunnet Girls Hockey Co-op program.

Fagan brings valuable experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to student-athlete development to the position. Having served as an assistant coach for the co-op during the 2025-2026 season, she played an important role in practice planning, game management, and helping build a positive and accountable team culture. Her familiarity with the program and passion for player growth made her a natural fit to lead the team into its next chapter.

“Having been part of this program last season makes this opportunity even more meaningful,” said Fagan. “I’m honored to step into the head coach role and continue building a culture of accountability, resilience, and pride.”

Fagan has coached youth hockey players from the U8 through U19 levels and has previously worked with New England Pride Hockey and the Massachusetts Spitfires in both coaching and administrative roles. In addition to her coaching background, she serves as a school nurse in the Dover community and works as a pediatric and neonatal nurse, bringing a unique perspective focused on student wellness, safety, and development.

St. Thomas Aquinas Athletic Director David Morissette expressed excitement about the future of the program under Fagan’s leadership.

“We are excited about the future of the co-op with Colleen leading the way,” Morissette said. “Her commitment to student-athletes and their overall growth will have a tremendous impact across all three schools.”

The St. Thomas Aquinas–Dover–Winnacunnet Girls Hockey Co-op looks forward to continued growth and success as preparations begin for the upcoming season.

Saints Welcome Back

Caitlin (Williams) Dallmeyer Home

St. Thomas Aquinas was thrilled to welcome home 2004 Alum Caitlin (Williams) Dallmeyer to campus in April as part of a special presentation for the Saints community. A graduate of Duke University, former Division I student-athlete, and current college coach, Caitlin returned to STA to speak with students about the importance of social media safety, responsible online behavior, and managing one’s digital footprint.

Drawing from her experiences in higher education and athletics, Caitlin connected with students in a genuine and relatable way. Through her work with, The Social Institute, founded by fellow Duke alumna and nationally recognized social media expert Laura Tierney, she shared practical strategies for navigating today’s digital world with confidence, integrity, and awareness.

Following her presentation, several members of the STA Field Hockey team had the opportunity to spend time with Caitlin and reflect on a unique connection they now share. In 2003, Caitlin helped lead the Saints to what was then the school’s only Field Hockey State Championship. More than two decades later, this current group of Saints brought another championship home to STA by capturing the 2025 title this past fall.

The moment served as a powerful reminder of the lasting bonds within the STA community and the tradition of excellence that connects generations of Saints. Once a Saint, always a Saint!

Spring Sports Season Updates

Baseball

The boys have put together a strong season, currently sitting in 4th place with an impressive 13-5 record. They close out the regular season Tuesday with a big matchup against #3 Oyster River, with plenty still on the line. Can the Saints climb into 3rd place and carry that momentum into a deep postseason run? With confidence building at the right time, could the Saints surprise some teams and make a push for a championship title?

Softball

The softball team has put together another strong season, currently sitting in the #4 spot with one game remaining in the regular season. The road to repeating won’t be easy, with several talented teams standing in the way, but the Saints have shown they can compete with anyone. Can they rise to the challenge and make another championship run to go back-to-back?

Boys Lacrosse

The boys lacrosse team overcame a shaky 1-3 start to turn their season around in a big way. The Saints now sit in the #5 spot with an impressive 10-4 record and two regular-season games remaining. The challenge ahead won’t be easy, with both matchups coming against top-four opponents. Can the Saints pick up some statement wins, finish the regular season strong, and build momentum heading into the postseason?

Girls Lacrosse

The girls lacrosse team has put together another outstanding season and currently sits in 3rd place with just two regular season games remaining. The only teams ahead of the Saints are Hopkinton, whom they defeated 15-10, and Bow, who narrowly edged them 13-12 in a thriller. Their only other loss came against Division I powerhouse Bishop Guertin. The Saints are looking to close out the regular season on a high note and make one final championship push as they chase a three-peat before moving up to Division II next year!

Boys Tennis

The boys tennis team has absolutely shined this season, finishing the regular season with a perfect 14-0 record and clinching the #1 seed heading into the tournament. After a dominant regular season, the Saints now get a short break before turning their focus toward a team championship run. With confidence high and momentum on their side, can they complete the job and bring home the title? And individually, can senior Alex Molda cap off his stellar career by going back-to-back in the state singles tournament?

Girls Tennis

The girls tennis team battled all season and narrowly secured a postseason spot after finishing the regular season with a 6-8 record. Earning the #11 seed, the Saints now hit the road for a first-round matchup against #6 Prospect Mountain on Tuesday, May 26th, with their season on the line. It’s win or go home from here. Can the Saints embrace the underdog role, pull off some upsets, and make an unexpected run toward the finals?

Track & Field

The track & field team has put together a strong season filled with new personal records and school records along the way. The hard work has paid off all spring, and now the Saints turn their attention toward Divisionals on Sunday, May 31st. Can they keep the momentum rolling and finish the season strong? And as the competition heats up, who will rise to the occasion and shine bright enough to punch their ticket to the Meet of Champions and even New Englands?
